Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be clean and dry. Plaster, Brick, Concrete and Masonry–Plaster should be completely cured and dry and any surface dust. Concrete surfaces should be at least 4 weeks old and free from any contaminants and surface laitance. Wire brush to remove any loose materials. General dirt can be removed with FixMaster Bio-Clean. Remove any flaky paint from previously painted surfaces.
Mixing
It is imperative that the mixing is carried out in the resin container* Epoxy Wall-Shield is supplied in pre-weighed containers and should be mixed in full. Extra water may be added to a maximum of 10% for a priming coat or to achieve  penetration  on  dense  surfaces. Stir the two components separately before mixing together thoroughly. Mixing should be carried out by drill with a suitable mixing attachment (available from FixMaster) or wide bladed tool. Mix continuously for 2-3 minutes until a uniform colour and consistency is achieved. If extra water is being used it should be added at this stage.
Application
Best results are achieved between 15-25°C with good ventilation. Do not apply below 10°C. apply via a short pile roller (not foam) for an even finish, this will avoid applying too thickly which is important. The product will change colour slightly as it starts to cure (do not rework these areas). Porous, open textured areas may require a third coat.
