Description

When wooden decking gets wet it can become slippery, algae can form in shady or damp conditions making it dangerous. Make it safer instantly using Eli-Safe GRP Decking Strips.

Waterproof and rot proof–ideal for timber which regularly gets wet
Pre drilled for screw fixing (screws supplied)
Cut to size service available up to 3mm tolerance
Virtually indestructible
Can be trimmed on site using a hacksaw if required
Chamfered edges reduce any trip hazard

NB. The decking strips are pre-drilled for easy fixing to timber. Holes are prepared at 300mm intervals and 50mm from each end. 50mm and 90mm wide strip will have one row of holes and 120mm wide strips will have two.

Application

Surface Preparation
If you need to cut the GRP use a good quality abrasive disc or hacksaw. GRP is quite tough to cut by hand, so if power tools are not available, please ask about our cut to size service.

Application
Lay the items in place to ensure that they fit. Trim using power saw or hacksaw. The strips are supplied pre-drilled by us using a number 10 drill, simply lay the cut decking strips in place and screw in using the number 8 screws supplied.
