Surface Preparation
Concrete should be clean and free from loose material. If the surface has previously been  painted the majority should be removed, especially if there are signs of loose or flaking edges. Small amounts of well bonded paint may remain, however if in doubt please call us. Do not apply to surfaces where sugar or sugar solution has been stored or allowed to contaminate the surface
Surface Priming
Two primers are supplied, primer 1 and primer 2.Primer 1 is to be used on porous surfaces. The concrete should be dampened with clean water, left for 30 minutes before evenly applying primer 1 with a brush or broom. Once dry primer 2 can be applied and the Floor Leveller mixed and laid straight onto primer 2 whilst still wet. Ensure to apply the primers evenly to avoid ponding as any excess primer can be drawn to the surface to leave a milky residue. This does  not  affect  the products strength but can create an uneven appearance and causes problems with over coating.
Mixing
Whilst mixing, pour the resin into the tub and slowly add the powder. Mix using a drill fitted with a mixing blade until a uniform, lump free consistency is obtained, this will take approximately 3-4 minutes.
Application
Do not apply below 5°C or above 25°C. Pour the mixed slurry straight onto the wet primer 2 and spread evenly at the desired thickness using a steel float. Any marks from spreading will level out. A spiked roller to release air should be passed through the Floor Leveller 3 or 4 times at different directions within 15 minutes of pouring to ensure roller marks do not remain visible when dried. Where possible, try to avoid applications being left to cure in direct sunlight as this can cause hairline cracking.
